Multiple Teams · Voting for March Player of the Month is starting over, VNN had Website Problems: Voting will begin today and conclude on 4/7/2017

The Indiana Athletic Department along with the Indiana Eye Care has started a program to honor our great athletes.   Each head coach, once a month during their season, will send the the athletic office two names and several sentences to support their choice for player of the month.  Our website VNN will+ then put together a voting process.  When people read the article they can vote for the Player of the Month.  At the end of the month the voting process ends and the player will be recognized.  Voting will begin on March 13th and end on March 31st.

Here is the list of our nominated athletes from our coaches and their words of support.

Softball:  Lauren Bertig   Lauren is our number one pitcher for our team.   Lauren although playing basketball came to all our conditioning practices during the winter season.  Lauren is a very hard worker and loves softball.

Baseball:  Anthony Lubold    Anthony was one of our hardest workers throughout the off season.  Starting in September, Anthony showed up to practice and was in the weight room on a daily basis from November through March.

Baseball:  Joel Moore   Joel was one of our most consistent players in the weight room this off season.  Joel was there on a daily basis working out and improved his strength a great deal.

Girls’ Track:   Abby Myers   Abby is in great shape heading into the spring season.  We are excited about the possibility of her making a run at the 400 meter and 800 meter school record this year.

Girls’ Track:   Isabella McCabe is coming off of a great cross country season and an equally good indoor track season.  She is in fantastic shape and we look for good things from her during track season.

Boys’ Track:  Jeremy Adamson has dedicated himself to improving in the pole vault.   He participated in indoor track where he place 8th in the TSTCA Championship Meet.  So far in practice his hard work paid off as he looks to already be in mid season form.

Boys’ Track:  Taylor Hudzicki   Taylor has worked very hard since last summer in rehabbing an injury he suffered last spring.  He is committed to being healthy this year and has visions of breaking the school record in the high jump as well as qualifying for the PIAA State track meet in May.

Freshman Volleyball:   Rachel Bowersox   Rachel is a tremendous hard worker who brings a great attitude and positive energy to the team day in and day out.  She tries her best to better herself and her team.  She also is will to lend a hand setting up equipment before and after practice.

Freshman Volleyball:  Elizabeth Evanick   Elizabeth has been a great asset to the team.  She has a very positive attitude and she plays many roles on the team.   She works to the best of her abilities so she can fill those roles.

Girls’ Lacrosse:  Gabriella Spadafora   Gabriella is a first year player, a goaltender, for the Girl’s lacrosse team.   Ella has worked very hard during the winter conditioning sessions developing her strength and stamina.  She is very talented and plays well beyond her experience.

Girls’ Lacrosse: Margaret Conjelko is a first year player that has made tremendous advances in her stick skills and game play in the first week of practice.  Even with her limited experience with lacrosse, Maggie is already becoming a valuable and contributing member of the team.

Boys’ Tennis:  Zach Palko   Zach has been looking forward to stepping onto the courts at White Township ever since he can remember.  As an active member of the US Tennis Association Zach has been in many tournaments and participates in tennis clinics at Ebensburg Tennis Center and Allegheny Mountain USTA Sectional Training Events.

Boys’ Lacrosse:  Sean Bray  Sean has shown great leadership on and off the field.  He Helped lead the Indiana team to a 10-4-1 record last year.

Boys’ Lacrosse:  Giaco Gentile   Giaco is a great mentor and leader for our younger players.  He is a multi-sport athlete and helped lead the Indiana travel team in our first year.
