JH Girls Track and Field take 1st at Plum Invitational

The Junior High girls track and field team earned 88 points to garner first place overall at the Plum Invitational. The girls took 1st out of 15 teams.  The girls have been dominant all season winning every track meet.  They will finish the season at the WAADA invitational this Saturday at Latrobe. Despite overcast conditions several Indiana athletes shined at the West Central Coaches Meet Friday night at Altoona’s Mansion Park. The Indiana boys track and field team took 1st place in the 8 team field Saturday at the Indiana County Track and Field Meet at Marion Center amassing a total of 182 points in the process.  The boys were led by Grant Sharp who was named the boys Most Valuable Track Athlete in the meet.

The 7th and 8th grade Boys and Girls Track teams both defeated Yough on Wednesday with identical scores 107-16.
